ImgArchive provides an organised place to store digital images for safe keeping, editing and viewing.

ImgArchive is a simple to use Digital Image archive system with version control following the Digital Asset Management design goals with Photographers in mind not content managers.

ImgArchive uses the base Operating Systems file system in order to store images in an organised file structure. so is completely self-contained.

I am a photographer and a software engineer by trade. Over the years I have amassed a huge collection of photographs of both film (mainly slides) and digital images. Some of these images have a very high value to me, some are irreplaceable. ImgArchive was born out of the need to maintain that collection.

ImgArchive is designed not to manipulate images but to maintain and safeguard images in a way that allows those images to be easily accessible.
