Welcome to ImgArchive Documentation Home. This is home page for the ImgArchive documentation.

ImgArchive is split into two parts, the core component applications and the Windows GUI applications.

• The core component applications will be cross-platform and consist of a number of comand line applications.
• The Windows applications are Windows only. These consist of regular applications plus, Windows shell application that integrate ImgArchive with Windows explorer.

In the future PDF versions of the documentation will be available here. For the moment the documentation is stored in Github. This is being updated on a regular bases. see link below:

Core Documention

This contains the core documentation for ImgArchive. These applications are the foundation tp the product. Applications such as the Windows GUI applications will use these core applications inorder to manipulate the ImgArchive Vault. This enables the ImgArchive to be Operating System and GUI neutral so any GUI or Operating System can use the core applications.

ImgArchive is a digital image archiving software package. This is the supporting documentation wiki for this software. The documentation is split into sections:

1. User Guide – The User Guide explains how to use ImgArchive.
2. Reference Manual – The Reference Manual provides a complete description of ImgArchive.
3. Digital Asset Management -The Digital Asset Management section details how ImgArchive supports organising, preserving, and managing digital image assets.

Windows User Documentation will be coming soon.
